Attention: We have noticed that many of our customers are choosing the CS1, CS2, CS4, DB4 and DB8 or the 4221HD or 4228HD antennas. They are all exceptional antennas! We must mention though that these models will not "see" VHF frequencies. You must realize that almost ALL TV markets across the nation have at least 1-2 channels (usually major networks) broadcasting on the VHF band. With this in mind, a VHF antenna must be incorporated with your antenna set up. If you are unsure in choosing what's right for your location please feel free to contact us or call 1-877-740-8484 for your proper antenna set up. We want our customers to get it right the first time!
This digital antenna represents a new breakthrough in size and unmatched ultra efficient design and gain. Advanced design software allows these 10" x 20" antennas to be smaller and more powerful across the entire DTV spectrum offering consistent high gain. With the efficiency of the C2 you can have range and power normally found in antennas up to 5 times the size in a compact and attractive form. The C2 delivers TV signals from widely located broadcast towers and offers flexible aiming characteristics with an extremely wide beam width of 70 degrees.

This is quite a good antenna for the UHF channels (14 to 51), but it is less good for the VHF channels (7 to 13), and so I have another antenna for the latter.
With the CS2 antenna high up in the attic of my home in Columbia, MD I am easily able to pick up all of the Baltimore-Washington UHF channels. All of these transmitters are within 25 miles of my home.
The breakthrough came after I bought an RCA806 amplified antenna, which I also put high up in my attic, and it works great for the VHF channels (specifically 7, 9, 11 and 13).
The RCA806 antenna comes with an amplifier that connects to the converter box, and I can plug either my RCA806 or CS2 antenna cables into the amplifier.
Between the two antennas I can pick up all 46 Baltimore-Washington area DTV channels (including Frederick and Annapolis) whenever I want. There is a lot of redundancy in these 46 channels, but it's still nice to have them all.
However, the real surprise happens after the sun goes down - using my CS2 I can frequently pick up stations in Richmond, VA, which is about 150 miles away. I have picked up further stations (e.g., WUND in Columbia, NC - 250 miles), but this doesn't happen very often.
In summary, I am pretty happy with my CS2, and I may buy a CS4 someday, so that I can pick up Richmond, VA more consistently.
